And I have already made my first purchase. Please turn to pages 236-241 of your hymnal, ah, I mean catalog, and feast your eyes on all the new carpets. This is an area that Ikea has really slumped with in the past but they are full steam ahead in 2010!

Check out the Alvine Ruta carpet on page 240. For $149, this 5’7″ x 7′ 10″ rug can’t be beat. And its gorgeous, too! Watch as it works my living room.

where did you find this rug?? it’s still not online and the brooklyn store says aren’t expecting it until OCTOBER (ah!) i want it now! it looks so great in your room!!

Hi Kelly,

I purchased the rug from the Ikea in Philadelphia on Columbus Blvd. Perhaps they have it in the Elizabeth, NJ store? It’s tough to get to but I know that Ikea offers shuttle service to a from the store and NYC.
