When Great Design and Function Meet in a Hot Red Vacuum
Coming from a brownstone apartment in Brooklyn, I only dealt with hardwood floors. Now, in Philly for almost a year now, vacuuming my wall to wall carpeting has been quite the issue. I put the task of purchasing a vacuum off as long as possible (4 months to be exact). Finally, visitors began to comment and the time had come.
This is what I learned: Vacuums are EXPENSIVE! I’m ballin’ on a budget and I didn’t have the guts to break my hamburger bank (more on that later). So, I turned to Overstock and they had the cure.

Overstock carries this $500 vacuum used and refurbished for $186! I found a online coupon that cut the price to $150 with shipping. You can’t beat that deal with a stick.
The design is impeccable and I read rave after rave before finally purchasing Bessie (that’s her name). It doesn’t hurt that its red, either – my personal favorite.
