Spring Means: Cherry Blossom Time!

One thing I used to love about living in Brooklyn was the Cherry Blossom festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  Well, to my surprise, the Morris Arboretum also offers a similar festival in honor of the Japanese tradition of celebrating the beauty of the Cherry Blossom tree.

On March 28th and April 4th, don’t miss the Morris Arboretum Japanese Cherry Blossom Celebration!

Events Include:

Saturday, March 28 at 11am and 12pm: Archery Demonstration, an ancient discipline in Japan now known as Kyudo that combines the qualities of heart and mind.

March 28th, at 1pm, the Arboretum will feature A Tour of Japanese Garden Elements, and at 2:30pm, guests can participate in the simple, yet elegant ritual of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
