If you are on the hunt for some sewing classes or knitting lessons, then look no further than Loop and Spool, two sister stores next to each other on South Street between 19th and 20th Streets.  The selections at both of these hip, modernly designed stores is better than anything I ever found in NYC & Brooklyn (home to the famed Etsy, and therefor supposedly in the know.)

Spool has amazing fabrics with retro prints galore and Loop can claim its fame with the huge selection of high quality yarns it supplies.  Take a look around their websites, their stores, and maybe you will see me at one of their classes.  I plan to start in January.
