Phillies Win National League East Title!!
With the diving play by Jimmy Rollins that gave the Phillies the last two outs of today’s game versus the Nationals, the Phillies have clinched the National League East title for the second year in a row. In a very un-Phillies like style, they did not do it at the last possible moment, leaving fans to pull out their hair. They won with one game to go. Let the Mets and Brewers duke it out and Cole Hamels can simply rest the golden arm in time for game of of the playoffs.
