Today, I took a stroll through Ikea.  Now, this could be a dangerous act.  However, after losing three hours on my last trip to the Megastore, I discovered a handy trick:

Enter through the “Returns/Exchanges” entrance, then walk into the warehouse section through the “Self-Serve Check Out” station. You can find everything you could possibly want without having to follow the yellow line through the guided tour that was created for a three year old to follow.

I shared this tip with my brother and he protested with the explanation that he needs the displays to figure out what he wants.  My answer: Take the catalog with you!  Problem solved.  All of the furniture is assembled in the warehouse, too.

My favorite pick up: The new SMART Table Lamp! It’s cheap ($20.00), chic, and will look perfect in any room!  Also a great solution to a small nightstand.  There are 5 different styles to choose from.
