Another Halloween Costume Idea: Cap’n Crunch

Another hilarious costume is Cap’n Crunch.  I try to find the costumes that everyone will recognize, with the exception of those who did not grow up in the States.  Another hilarious costume is Cap’n Crunch.  Cap’n Crunch is recognizable, easy to recreate, and everyone loves him from their childhood memories.

What you need to be Cap’n Crunch this Halloween:

1. Navy Blue Pants

2. White bushy mustache

3. Sailor-type blazer with gold buttons.  You can add the yellow embellishments yourself with painted cardboard.

4. Yellow Paint, Blue Paint

4. Sailor shoulder pad tassels: Look for them at a costume shop

5. The hat: This you can make yourself with some cardboard, cotton balls, blue paint, yellow paint, and lots of tape.  Make sure to attach the Cap’n hat to a hat that already sits on your head well.  This will keep it secure throughout the night.

6.  Clearly, a box of Cap’n Crunch
